Halloween Themed Escape Room

This is such a fun activity similar to an escape room. You have to pass each challenge to get to the next challenge. With each challenge successfully completed, you earn items needed for the final step, which is a STEM challenge.

One of the challenges is a riddle decoder where you fill in the key to solve the riddles. This activity helps practice the skill of skip counting by 2s. The next challenge is a coding challenge. This challenges focuses on the skill of sequencing commands, which leads the trick-or-treater to the house while avoiding the monsters along the way. The next challenge is Halloween picture sudoku. Pass all the challenges, and you earn the materials for the STEM challenge, which is to create something that holds candy using only the materials provided. Once it's built, you can test your design to see how many pieces of candy it can hold without breaking.
